Zynium Corp. is the U.S.-based market leader in Middleware for Workflow and business process management solutions. The company helps customers accelerate revenue, reduce costs, improve quality, ensure compliance and drive innovation throughout the product lifecycle. Zynium has a broad suite of best practice, enterprise-class PLM solutions.

Problem

Systems development efforts are time consuming. They require numerous design iterations from business process modeling notations (BPMNs) to systems and process workflow design; extended implementation times for business processes; and the development of use cases. Therefore, companies want tools that save time and reduce errors in automating and translating designs between different workflow and system design platforms. Many BPMN and modeling tool vendors develop Visio import capabilities to address this need. Zynium wanted to develop an integrated, universal import tool between Visio and different BPMN platforms.

Solution 

OSF professionals worked closely with Zynium to develop an application that would enable mapping processes to support imports and exports for numerous systems. The team also generated different builds and application packages that were sent to Zynium’s customers for their specific platforms. 

Results

The modular solution has helped Zynium increase its business and improve its image in the market, including positive coverage from analysts such as the Gartner Group.
