Custom Sugar CRM solution to improve client management and grow sales

Our client is an IT outsourcing company with development offices worldwide and a large number of customers and projects to manage. Their customer base was expanding rapidly; they had a backlog of projects; and their current methods for keeping track of it all were inadequate, time consuming and costly. They needed a sophisticated CRM tool.
Problem
A rapidly growing base of customers is a good problem to have. But this IT outsourcing company had reached the point where they needed a flexible, sophisticated CRM tool to help enhance customer relationships, track the status of current projects, track opportunities in the pipeline, and reduce sales costs. Business specifics required a solution that was highly customizable, and financial constraints demanded a CRM application that balanced affordability and functionality.
Solution
First the OSF Global Services team researched and identified an appropriate open source CRM solution – in this case, Sugar CRM. Next we customized specific modules and developed new modules according to our client’s unique requirements. Then we integrated the solution with the other applications our client was already using.
Results
In just 90 days our client had a customized Sugar CRM seamlessly integrated with their revenue-cycle management system; licensing and implementation costs were a fraction of their IT budget; and development time for marketing and sales reports decreased dramatically.
