Vator.tv is a social network for technology startup companies, offering entrepreneurs a platform to connect with investors, acquirers and the media. The solution gives investors useful tools to keep track of companies and industries that interest them. And it provides a revolutionary interaction platform to discover investment opportunities in the technology market.

Problem

The company wanted to revamp its technology platform in order to focus more on its business goals and improve the services it offered. Vator.TV had partially developed an online platform that enabled users to post rich-media profiles and video pitches in order to be spotted by potential investors. However, the company wanted to expand the services it offered and that meant improvements to the site.

Solution 

OSF Global Services put together a team of developers and testers that clearly identified the customer’s needs and the status of the development work that had already begun on the project. Once completed, the team removed any malfunctions in the code and updated the platform to Ruby on Rails V2.0. In addition, the team proposed a redesign of the website that has improved usability and added more functionality.
