Demandware enhancements boost conversions, customer experience for leading men’s grooming brand Baxter of California

IT professional services provider OSF Global Services announced today the centralized Demandware integration of L’Oréal brand and men’s grooming products pioneer, Baxter of California.

As part of a growth strategy following their acquisition by L’Oréal, the unique solution was successful in accommodating the retailer’s existing order fulfillment system—an uncommon integration with Demandware, and for L’Oréal—while enabling a much easier shipping, payment and confirmation process.

“We came up with a way that enabled them to grow merchandising and develop the website without impacting fulfillment,” said Brian Vass, Business Analyst at OSF Global Services. “We’ve done standard order flow integrations, but this was completely custom.”

OSF not only developed a deep understanding of what the retailer was doing throughout the fulfillment process—they trained team members across departments who were impacted by the switch onto the new systems. And new, state-of-the-art enhancements to the customer experience are already contributing to sales growth, as well as an enhanced overall appearance of the brand.
