When it comes to inbound marketing methods, blogger outreach is one of the most effective techniques, often disregarded by competitors, companies can take advantage of highly original content distributed through a niche channel to a fully-targeted audience. And since most online users read blogs, it pays to diversify the traditional marketing campaigns by engaging the online trend-setters in order to influence purchasing decisions. BlogDash was launched several years ago as an automated software company aiming to bridge the communication gap between bloggers eager to monetize their websites and paying customers. In the framework of their current expansion strategy, BlogDash is focusing on developing outstanding quality content to help businesses receive recognition on top-tier publications such as Mashable, TechCrunch, Forbes and the Huffington Post, in addition to using their blogger network to help boost brand awareness. In order to achieve their out-of-the-box business goals and increase their database of bloggers and content creators, BlogDash has partnered with OSF Global Services on multiple projects mainly related to the rework and redesign of the PHP platform that acts as a touch point between writers and brands. The initial scope was the integration of social media accounts and metrics such as Twitter and Klout, but also of a series of features that would notify clients when bloggers check their interest in participating in a campaign or reply to their pitches. For Ana Maria De La Cruz, VP of Operations at BlogDash, the long-term partnership with OSF Global Services goes beyond the implementation of a list of technical features: “Every interaction I’ve had with the OSF employees has been fantastic from my perspective. They’re always incredibly responsive to whatever new problems happen to arise or whatever new feature we want to implement. We always work collaboratively until our ideas have been fully implemented and we receive positive feedback from both our bloggers and our clients.” Currently, BlogDash and OSF Global Services are streamlining the blogger outreach experience even further. A major update waiting to be launched in a matter of weeks will bring in advanced filtering to ensure that bloggers receive only those projects that match their expertise and compensation requirements. At the same time, the visibility of client campaigns is being refined throughout the system thanks to the implementation of different levels of privacy. This will allow only certain bloggers to apply and participate in specific marketing campaigns, based on criteria selected by the client. Marc Duquette, CEO of BlogDash, underlined the key points of success for this ongoing collaboration, which has its roots back in 2006: “OSF provides quality service and expertise for our programming needs. It is rare to have a long-term relationship with such professional consistency—they are a valued service provider to BlogDash.com!”
Application TypeCustom and web application development
I've now worked with OSF on two separate Salesforce projects and must say that I'm very pleased with the results, and their service level. For our first project, we had them create a timesheet app, full with bells and whistles, and since implementation, it's helped extremely. I haven't had to go back to them with any issues or oversights - they're very thorough with their testing and QA. The service rep I was assigned was great - friendly, professional and proactive. She always sent me updates and ensured I had everything I needed. Turn-around times were great, too. I didn't have to wait months for them to complete my projects. I'll definitely be using them again.
