  • »  Design and implement Sterling OMS solutions into existing environments and designing business workflows to ensure proper application mapping/flow.

  • »  Support a wide range of technology projects using Sterling OMS, including configurations, software development, installation of patches and upgrades, etc.

  • »  Collaborate with Consultant and Business Analyst to extend the capabilities of the Sterling OMS platform

  • »  Participate and support in the solution testing and deployment

  • »  Writing of product extensions and interfaces to ensure proper functionality and integration with other systems

  • »  Provide technical expertise in establishing processes and procedures to ensure standards are followed

  • »  Develop and document standard operating procedures, best practices and technical documentation in a technical repository

  • »  Develop new application functionality in OMS and maintain the integrity of the OMS System through design and development efforts, with minimal oversight needed

  • »  Provide architectural, technical design and code review level guidance and software design documentation for team

  • »  Support customers on Complex technical issues

  • »  Perform gap/fit analysis between IBM Base functionality and organizational requirements

  • »   Assist internal/external teams in developing more extensive OMS Knowledge. Also work with other IT staff to solve business problems

  • »   Work with end users, management and support staff to identify areas where new applications will solve business problems

  • »   Additional duties, as assigned


  • »   3 plus years of previous experience in designing and implementing Sterling OMS solutions into existing environments

  • »  3 plus years of experience with Java

  • »  WebSphere Common Services, Java Applets, EJB, JSP, JSTL + Oracle and MS SQL Server experience

  • »  Previous experience of working in retail industry, with exposure to Order Management Systems is considered to be a plus

  • »  Ability to collaborate with other technical experts and develop solution and functional design documents to support development of final solutions

  • »  Design of business workflows to ensure proper application mapping/flow

  • »  Proven ability to partner with quality assurance teams to develop and execute testing scenarios to support end-user and performance-based testing

  • »  Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to partner with various stakeholders

  • »  Demonstrated technical knowledge of the fundamental concepts, technologies, standards and methodologies

  • »  Fluency in English
